Meet Me at Louis

I took this outside the Louis Vuitton store. It felt less like a shopfront and more like a marker the kind of place you say out loud so someone can find you. Meet me here. A checkpoint in the city. A shared reference point.

The colours climb the building like quiet ambition. Each panel moves in its own lane, at its own pace, yet all rising together. Standing there, watching traffic slide past, it felt symbolic. We use material goals like this as stand-ins for something deeper progress, proof, arrival hoping the people we care about will be there when we reach them.

But that reference point never really mattered. Just like me getting to that moment, from a South London council estate to here, it was never about the destination. It was the journey. The people along the way. The shared jokes (and the struggle). The feeling of moving forward together.

This photograph isn’t about the brand or the building. It’s about the idea of meeting at a place, in a season, in a version of life you once talked about and realising, that the journey there was the part you’ll cherish most.
